 Pixie Pods is a queer, neurodivergent, Black woman-owned mobile enrichment studio ✊🏾 that brings dance, acrobatics, school break camps, summer camps, private PODs, and birthday entertainment to children under 9, primarily in Brooklyn, with select offerings in Manhattan and Queens.

Designed for kids of all abilities, Pixie Pods creates fun, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences in spaces where children feel most comfortable—whether it’s a local park, rooftop garden, or living room.

With a focus on child-led, progression-based learning, Pixie Pods ensures that every child feels empowered, supported, and excited to move. Free from the traditional pressures of competition or rigid instruction, our classes encourage kids to learn through joy—because when children love what they do, they thrive!

Pods are private, small group classes specializing in music, dance, and acrobatics. All you have to do is get a group together, decide a class, location, and time and we take care of the rest! Our Pixie Pods instructors come to you with all of our equipment, music, and class materials!

All of our instructors are highly experienced and trained members of our Pixie Pods Squad! We are fully vaccinated and focused on providing the best care and enrichment to the kids in your life. All staff is trained for each individual program, as well as overall Pixie Pods training. Our instructors are trained professionals in music, dance and the arts!

Please provide a water bottle, change of clothes, sunscreen, and 2 snacks.

 Yes! Please pack with your child a change of clothes, just in case of the unlikely event of an accident! If your child wears a school uniform of any sort, they should be okay to participate in our activities in their uniform, but if you'd like to provide them with a more comfy set of clothes to wear for class, we can make sure they change 

Yes! Please pack a yummy, nut-free snack from home specifically for Pixie Pods! We do, however, provide a Nature's Bakery Fig Bar of assorted flavors in the event a child does not have a snack from home. Please also make sure your child has a water bottle, that way we can all stay hydrated during our dancing and acrobatic fun! 

Of course! We are very flexible in terms of pick-up and drop off. If you would like to send us a courtesy text, that's cool, but you don't need our permission to take your kid :)

Pixie Pods works with families on an individual basis who would like financial assistance.
