Pixie Pods: DANCE Classes

"Zumbini" Ages: 0-4. All Genders!
45 mins. Designed for kids ages 0-4, the Zumbini program combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding and fun. Tap your toes, sing-along and get lost in the only program to combine early-childhood development the the magical joy of Zumba Fitness.

"Grown Up, Dance and Me" Ages: walking/1-3 years old. All genders!
- 30 mins. Explore the joy of movement with your little one and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance classes. We will dance, sing, and play in both one-on-one activities and group activities. Through circle songs, open exploration, and gross motor development exercises, children will blossom with each passing class as they grow with their caregiver during this precious time together.
- The visual learners can SEE the movement and rhythm.
- The auditory learners can HEAR the music.
- The kinesthetic learners can MOVE and TOUCH throughout the class.
Keeping a kinesthetic child still on your lap, forcing a visual learner to stand and dance, or making an auditory learner look only at the instructor will only frustrate the children. Caregivers are expected to be fully attentive and follow directions. Adult modeling is SO helpful!

"Pixie Dance" Ages: 3-5 years old. All Genders!
- 45mins. Movement class designed to introduce children to the creative and expressive world of dance through play!
“Play” in dance classes is exploring all the amazing ways our bodies can move, developing movement skills, and expressing our individual creativity. Incorporating props, stories, and student-centered explorations is essential!
Music, movement, visuals, and props will enhance your Childs' love of the art form and the unique conceptual approach to dance education will provide the opportunity for cognitive growth. We teach dance concepts such as Place, Size, Levels, Directions, and more to enhance our lessons beyond just the average dance class.
This foundation will set your dancer up for success in dance training for years to come!

"Pixie Ballet" Ages: 5-7 years old. All genders!
60 mins. Movement class designed to introduce children to the creative and expressive world of ballet through play! Dancers ready for a more structured program will love our traditional Pre-Ballet dance class where dancers receive an imaginative introduction to early ballet movements and terminology. Dancers will develop creative movements, musicality and body awareness!
If purchased a class package, a rectual for parents/caregivers is included!

45mins Zumba® Kids + Zumba kids 60 mins. classes are rockin', high-energy dance parties packed with kid-friendly routines. We break down steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure.No experience needed!
Benefits: Helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives. Classes incorporate key childhood development elements such as leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, balance, and cultural awareness.

Our Pre-Professional Classes (Ballet, Jazz, and Musical Theatre) promotes artistic excellence, strong technique and performance opportunities. (recitals for parents). We create technically strong, artistically expressive dancers who adapt easily to the broad range of styles required of today’s professionals.
